About Us

Dr Shaun East qualified as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2011 at the University of Pretoria and started with dual practice as a Consultant Surgeon at Kalafong hospital/University of Pretoria and part time Private Practice. He has been practicing at Kloof Mediclinic since 2012 and developed a special interest in Sports Orthopaedics especially Knee Ligament and Meniscal Injuries, Ankle Injuries, Hip Injuries and Wrist and Hand Pathologies.

He also has an interest in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty. He is an avid cyclist having completed numerous Argus, 94.7 races and recently two Sani2c events. He is currently preparing for the Joberg2c race. (Johannesburg to Sea Race)
